New Don Simon’s plant: unique integrated agricultural project
The plant in Huelva (Andalucía) is located in the centre of an estate with 1,500 hectares of orange trees. This estate will be used as a model to plant another 10,000 hectares.

The main difference:

– Orange tree plantation exclusively for fruit juice, requiring very little treatment (almost organic) for its crop.

– The best varieties of orange for fruit juice have been selected for the plantation.

– A single and light pasteurisation, a key achievement which allows Don Simon to offer the best quality.

– Integral process which avoids unnecessary transport, that deteriorates the quality of the product, and also helps squeezing the fruit immediately after being collection. This is essential for the quality of the juices because oranges are very delicate and they start to lose their properties once picked off the tree.

– Latest and state-of-the-art technology ensuring hygienic conditions throughout the process of selection, squeezing, conservation and packing. The oranges are squeezed one by one, removing the skin to avoid the bitter taste of the rind.
